Peach & Brown Sugar Cake
A rustic, warm‑weather dessert that tastes like a Midwest summer evening.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups EMH General‑Purpose Flour
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter, melted
2 eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 fresh peaches, sliced
Optional: sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
Arrange peach slices in a buttered cast‑iron skillet.
Whisk flour, baking powder, salt.
Whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, vanilla.
Combine wet + dry and pour over peaches.
Bake at 350°F for 28–32 minutes.
